Section: Entering Student Survey (ESS) 2008 to 2013:

The ESS is a trend survey of new freshmen as they enter UIC. The Survey gathers pre-enrollment information on the behavior, attitudes and motivations of the new freshmen at UIC. The ESS is a collaboration of effort between the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

The Graduate College Entering Student Survey is collaboration between the Graduate College and the Office of Degree Progress. College Student Experience Questionnaire (CSEQ) is an enrolled student survey administered by Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Office of Degree Progress.

The 2008 CSEQ Norms Report provides comprehensive information on the administration of the CSEQ at UIC, comparisons with the 2004 and 2006 outcomes as well as national norms.

Spring 2008 Follow-up of the 2004 freshmen CSEQ participants

During the spring of 2004, approximately 400 UIC students participated in the College Student Experience Questionnaire (CSEQ). This included about 170 freshmen. This report is an update on the status of those students four years later.
